Hiding Data Globally using Conditions
Data elements can be hidden in a condition. For example, an attribute may not be applicable for a certain type of record no matter what group a user is in. If the attribute is hidden globally with a condition such as 'TYPE = IT', anywhere it is used (in all applications) the field associated with the attribute will not be drawn on the screen.
This technote shows how to hide an entire object conditionally for all users and to hide an attribute conditionally for all users.
